System Requirements MacOS o MacOS v8.5 or later o PowerPC Computer (G3 or better recommended) o 32Mb of RAM o 20MB free HD space o Monitor & video card capable of 640x480 in thousands of colors o Game Sprockets 1.5 (latest version recommended) Windows o Windows 95/98/NT o Pentium 133 Processor (Pentium II or better recommended) o 32Mb of RAM o 20MB available HD space o Monitor & video card capable of 640x480 in thousands of colors o DirectX 3 (DirectX 5 or later recommended) 2. Installation Double click the "mh_demo_install" icon. This will install the game's files to your hard drive. Under Windows, a Monkey Byte start menu item will be created, and the game's icon and uninstaller will be added. For MacOS users, the installer places the game in a folder on the selected hard drive, you can move this folder wherever you wish. To uninstall under MacOS just drag the game's folder into the trash. You can get the latest version by visiting our web page: (MacOS ONLY) Your web browser or FTP client should automatically decode the MacBinary download. If not, you need to download Stuffit Expander (for free) from Aladdin Systems. 3. Start to Play a) Double click the Monster Hunter Demo icon. b) Have fun! 4. Purchasing This demo is just a small taste of what awaits you in the full game. In fact, there is so much cool stuff it requires a CD to fit it all! Here's what awaits you: - 160 pre-designed levels - 11 new ghoulish monsters - 3 evil (very evil!) Boss monsters - 10 weapons to vanquish your nemises - Dozens of crazy effects - Random Leves! General Controls Default Keyboard Commands MENU: Up/Down arrow keys select menu option 'ENTER' or 'RETURN' activate menu option GAME: Arrows move the Monster Hunter 'Space' Fires current weapon. 5. The Manual The manual for Monster Hunter is included with the demo, and contains a lot of info on how to play, and gives a glimps of things included in the full game. The manual is an HTML document, and can be read in any standard web browser (you should be able to just double-click on "Manual.html"). 6. Gameplay Play through level after level of fiendish monster destroying (yet, bloodless-for the kids) entertainment. This top view game blends the best in strategy with hand eye coordnation and vivid graphics. Good, clean fun for all the family. 7. The Story Be one with the Monster Hunter! You are he, the saviour of all that is not drooly, squirmy, or has a name that is proceeded by the word monster. Enjoy strategy at its' finest! 8. If after reading the technical help you still have questions about or problems the game, contact technical support.
